I had some thoughts about custom URL’s for your Facebook fanpage. I didn’t see this in crush it! or in the Soci@l e-book put out by Keller Williams. A custom URL is important for driving to your page via offline marketing. This includes voice mail, print and word of mouth. Leave me a comment and let me know what you think.

I have since fixed the setting, but I didn’t know if I could nail it again with the same enthusiasm as the one I ended up posting. But the content is good, and relevant so enjoy! Spread the word and leave me a comment, I love feedback! be sure to add me on twitter at twitter.com/myredseo and help me get to 1000 followers!

Blog, what is it?
September 28, 2009 · Leave a Comment
What is a “blog”? What is inside a blog? Can my visitors comment on my postings? “Blog” is an abbreviated version of “weblog,” which is a term used to describe websites that maintain an ongoing chronicle of information. A blog is a frequently updated, personal website featuring diary-type commentary and links to articles or other websites.

Tips to improve MLS performance
September 18, 2009 · Leave a Comment

Notice that the address is http://okcmar.mlxtempo.com/
if you will add the letters AX to the end of the address it will take you to the active x configuration page
(or you can just click on this link http://okcmar.mlxtempo.com/ax/)
You will be directed to a page that looks like this

Click install and continue to click through until you get checks besides each componet
**Be Forwarned** There will be about 20 various things that you will have to click ok, accept ect. It may seem like its not working, but i assure you that at some point it will give you all checks and stop prompting you to install.
Once you have done this, you will be updated to the latest settings, and should not have to do this anymore on that particular computer. Remember that since the program is web based you will need to do this once on each computer you plan to use MLS on.
It is possible that you have been using the MLS just fine without doing this. However, if you don’t have all of these componets installed, I promise you that you will run into problems. It may not be now, but more likely it will happen when you are on the way out the door and you go to print something off real quick, only to discover that you never installed the printer controls, therefore you are unable to print a particular report. Thanks for reading. I hope this help you out.

Need a new Camera?
January 7, 2009 · Leave a Comment
Good Day to All. I wanted to take a few minutes and talk about digital cameras. I have been a photography enthusiast for the past 10 years or so. I have owned many digital cameras. I can say that the prices point of cameras available today, has come down a long way. Yesterday, I bought a kodak camera for $150 at bestbuy.I got the service plan for $30, because it covers any breakage over the next 2 years. That is a small price to pay for a piece of mind.
It is 10 megapixels. That is a high enough resolution to print 30″X 40″ photos. I can’t think of a time when i have ever printed out photos that large. What
it also does, is gives us the ability to crop more, and zoom in more, since it’s such a high resolution. More on that in another post.
Upon leaving Best Buy, I opened the camera, and first thing i did……….LOOK AT THE MANUAL!
It is always a good idea to look at the box and manual to see what your camera is capable of! This one will record HD video, Take photos, and has about 20 preset shooting modes. All with on screen explanations, and help. And while i am on the topic of ‘on screen’. This camera has a huge 3″ display. Which makes for easy viewing. It also has smart focus with face detection, improving the results of your pictures, even for rookies. Here is a link to specs on this camera from the kodak website. Notice its $180. I got mine for $149 at BB. I hope this helps! any questions or comments would be great. Now go take some pictures!Visit my website for more info and pics. www.bradburger.com
