Are your listing photos on Realtor.com?

January 18, 2010 · Leave a Comment

As the number of people searching the internet for a home grows, so does the means by which they are able to search.  One of the top publichome search sites is Realtor.com. Listings from the Multiple Listing Service are automatically sent to realtor.com on a daily basis. However, it is always a good idea to check Realtor.com to make sure that your listing is there, and that it has the images. From time to time, the pictures get lost in the migration from the MLS.

If your listing does not have any of the pictures displaying, you need to send an email to images@realtor.com In the email, you need to include the listing number and address for the listing, as well at 4 images that you want to show.  Number the images 1,2,3 and  4 as you attach them to the email. They should be posted within 24hours.

As a Keller Williams Northpointe agent, your office has an account to provide each agent with more than a basic presence on realtor.com. To get your log in and get started, call REALTOR.com, (800) 878-4166.  For more tech tips visit www.bradburger.com or to set up a 1 on 1 consultation please email brad@bradburger.com

Oklahoma City MLS virtual tour tools

December 23, 2009 · Leave a Comment

As I was recently reading through the Oklahoma City Metro Association website and blog, I saw a link to the newsletter put out by Property Panorama. Their product enables users to create virtual tours with little more than a camera and a computer. This lead me to their website, where I was exploring all that this powerful tool can do. They have put together a demo of the tool, and I must say that I am impressed. The best part, aside from the ease of use for most any level computer user, is that the finished product can be syndicated to several popular websites, including google base, Trulia and more. Lead capture tools allow you to see who is looking at your listings as well. If you would like to get more exposure of your listings and gain more leads in the process, take 3 minutes and watch this demo.

Oklahoma City Keller Williams week in review

November 6, 2009 · Leave a Comment

Good friday to you all. I hope you all had a great week. This is the first post of my “Week in review” series. This week was filled with things that I feel are beneficial to all. First of all the weather. This is the mildest November i can remember, averaging around 75 degrees.

The week started off with a day of learning with Holly Perry, trainer for Keller Williams Realty, teaching the 24 topics. 24 Topics is a breakdown of the book the Millionaire Real Estate Agent, by Gary Keller. This book is amazing. It is the blueprint for real estate success. There is a 3 part audio file of the presentation available for free on KW.com. She recommends that you get the book spiral bound for about $3 at Kinkos. Well worth the investment.

We had a team meeting on Tuesday, and we went over Showing Assist. Showing Assist is a program built into the OKCMAR MLS that allows agents to coordinate their showings, with a great deal of it being automated. Our own Jesse Tehee demonstrated how he uses Showing Assist to automate his showings, as well as give feedback to his sellers.
